WRITING IS AN ESSENTIAL COMPONENT in our After-School Tutoring Program at 826 Valencia. Upon completing homework assignments, enrolled students engage with a wide range of writing curriculum. With the support of 826 staff and volunteers, students select their favorite writing pieces and then edit their own work. Finally, these pieces are translated and published every year in this bilingual book. Our publication is traditionally released with our young authors reading their writing to fellow students, families, and tutors at the end of the school year.
